Downtime

I love a coffee. Feet up watching Netflix or playing PS4.

What is the biggest challenge you have ever faced and how did you overcome it?

My anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury. I overcame it by re-inventing myself by becoming stronger and better than I was before. Consistent hard work for months so I could provide for my family. I also set myself long term goals and that has mentally made me a lot more tough.

Mindset habit or tip

I try to keep my feet on the ground whilst being level-headed and I don’t get too far ahead of myself. Good things happen to those who are patient.

Nutrition habit or tip

Making sure I eat healthy all week to deserve the treat on the Saturday night. One cheat meal a week.

Training habit or tip

Planning ahead and knowing when I need to do exercise or when to have the rest. Always like to do core so making sure I do that at least 3 to 5 times per week.

Who inspires you and why?

My family and friends. They’re always wanting me to do well and if I can do so and make those around me happy I enjoy that.

What one thing would you tell a reader who was looking for an actionable step they could take to improve their lifestyle?

Set yourself goals short term and long term whatever it may be because you’ll come out the other side of it feeling like you can achieve anything.
